Need to let your guests know a specific dress code for your wedding but not sure how? Enclosure cards to the rescue!
Many of you know I'm planning an April wedding at my parents' farm in Galivants Ferry. (Galivants Ferry is about 30 miles west of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.)
The ceremony and reception are being held on the property, which is all undeveloped farmland.
I used an enclosure card to keep our guests clued in on what to wear.
After googling different ways to ask how to include wedding attire and scouring thousands of solutions, an enclosure card seemed to be the best pick! (View ours below! I designed it myself)
Now, our guests (especially the ladies) will be prepared when choosing footwear :)
I also used the card to give directions to the farm and share our wedding website. It's a win-win especially since we have many out-of-towners.
Here are other uses for the handy handouts.
Use your enclosure cards for many more purposes. Perhaps you want input for DJ requests or song choices, use the card to ask your guests for feedback.
You can also inform guests of travel, lodging and other details.
If the reception is taking place at a venue other than the ceremony site, list the location and address on a separate enclosure card.
If you've planned extra events for all the guests — a welcome dinner, group hiking excursion, rehearsal dinner, or post-wedding brunch - give your visitors a heads up. Include the fun details on an enclosure card.
